KARIU KOLLECTION VOL. 2 expands the archive beyond remix culture into original composition, marking a pivotal evolution in KARIU’s creative history.

This volume includes a hybrid body of work:

• Original compositions created for Tekken Tag Tournament 2

• Reinterpretations and remixes from Street Fighter III

• Original songs inspired by and written for Street Fighter IV and Street Fighter x Tekken

• Additional works influenced by Chrono Trigger and Streets of Rage

Where VOL. 1 focused on reinterpretation, VOL. 2 documents the moment KARIU began composing from the ground up—creating music that could stand beside game soundtracks rather than simply rework them.

These tracks reflect a deeper understanding of pacing, character themes, and gameplay energy. The music was written not just to be listened to, but to feel playable—designed to move, loop, and exist within imagined game worlds.

As with all releases in the KARIU KOLLECTION series, this volume is presented as an archival record. The music appears in its original form, preserving the creative intent and technical limitations of the era in which it was made.

VOL. 2 represents growth, confidence, and the transition from remix artist to composer.
