KARIU KOLLECTION VOL. 1 is the first entry in an official archival series preserving KARIU’s video game remix era—a body of work that helped define an entire lane of independent remix culture.

This volume is composed exclusively of video game–inspired compositions and remixes, drawing from worlds such as Street Fighter, Sonic, Marvel vs. Capcom, and other formative titles that shaped both the sound and the community around the music.

These tracks were created during a period of deep experimentation, where KARIU reimagined familiar game themes through original arrangements, genre fusion, and technical reinterpretation—long before remix culture became widely accepted or monetized.

VOL. 1 is not a playlist. It is a curated archive, sequenced intentionally to preserve the feel, energy, and creative philosophy of that era. The music appears as it existed then—untouched, unrevised, and presented as historical record rather than modern revision.

The KARIU KOLLECTION series will remain available as an open archive, distinct from other legacy releases which may be limited or vaulted.
